Job Summary: The Rehab Therapy Tech provides support to the Physical and/or Occupational Therapist as outlined in the patient care plan and instructed by the Therapist. Performs tasks to maintain department in an orderly condition including cleaning and organizing the department.
Reports to: Physical Therapist / Occupational Therapist
Education: High School diploma required.
Experience: Experience desired, on the job training in the use of various equipment and in departmental methods and procedures preferred.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the cleaning, organization, and general flow of the clinic and clinical operations
- Assists in treatments under the direct supervision of a physical therapist as follows: gait training, exercise, bed mobility, wheelchair training, endurance training, transfer training, grooming, dressing, hygiene, eating/feeding, toilet training, tub/shower transfers and cognitive training.
- Assists Physical or Occupational Therapist in patient care
- Assists with Record keeping
- Participates in computerized health information systems.
- Assists with making appointments for patients
- Prepares reports for departmental and accounting purposes in a timely manner.
- Maintains standards required by regulatory entities
- Actively participate in all special events
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- May be required to work evenings, nights, and/or weekends on a regular or as needed basis.
