Advanced Medical Care
Mena Regional Support Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, was established in 1991 to help a local hospital during a critical period. The hospital has since thrived and grown into a top-notch medical facility that the community can be proud of. The Foundation played a crucial role in the hospital’s $9 million dollar expansion and renovation in 2004, raising funds to offset the costs. Recently they have donated $150,000 towards new hospital beds for our Inpatient Rehab, Senior Behavioral, and Med-Surg departments. Today, the Mena Regional Health System offers advanced medical care that far exceeds the typical offerings of a small rural hospital.
What We Do
The MRHS Support Foundation is dedicated to supporting the hospital by providing funding for capital improvements and a sustainable workforce. Our goal is to assist the hospital in offering state-of-the-art medical care by financing equipment and facility upgrades. We also provide healthcare career scholarships to local students who wish to practice in their hometown after their studies. Our foundation is proud to support the “Teddy Bear Clinic” and other similar events for the youth in our community.
