Outstanding Service
Mena Regional Auxiliary was started for the purpose of assisting the hospital in providing outstanding service to the community through:
Raising funds by various activities both in and outside of the hospital
Managing and staffing the Gift Shop
Working with The Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association
Mena Regional Auxiliary Needs You
You can become a member of the Auxiliary by attending the monthly meetings and/or by volunteering in the hospital Gift Shop. You can also serve as an officer of the Auxiliary or on a Committee. Membership is $5.00 per year. A member should attend 50% of our Auxiliary meetings in an Auxiliary Annual Year (May-April). To join, please complete an application form and return it to the Gift Shop or MRHS Administration.

Fund Raising Projects
Our main source of fund raising is profit from the Gift Shop including the Christmas Open House and various sales throughout the year. We also have different fundraisers during the year, such as the Uniform Sales, The Christmas Breakfast and the Razorback Item Sale.
Funds Raised Provide
Scholarships for students enrolled in a medical field of study. Purchase of Equipment for the hospital such as: a countertop ice machine for ICU, Accutorr 3 vital signs monitor for MedSurg, Reality Orientation Board for SBH and UE Ranger Equipment for Rehab. WE also sponsor the annual Ice Cream Social for employees during Hospital Week. Provision of services to the hospital that benefit patients and employees. Expenses of members to attend state and District Meetings and training sessions as well as annual dues.
Prayer for Hospital Auxiliaries
Almighty God and Heavenly Father of mankind, bless we pray thee, our endeavors in this hospital in which we strive to bring comfort and hope to all who are in distress of mind and body. Guide us so that we may use the privilege given us to help the aged, the ill, and the very young with generosity, with discretion and with gentleness. Give us the strength to labor diligently, the courage to think and speak with clarity and conviction, but without prejudice or pride. Grant us, we beseech Thee, both wisdom and humility in directing our efforts to do for others as Thou would have us do.
